2) 9/11 is a federal issue relevant to federal candidates. Mass murder is an initiation of force.
3) Belief in 9/11 Truth is a good way to combat socialism and national health care. Imagine if they poisoned the entire nation’s blood supply.
4) Legalizing heroin is part of the LP platform, surely more controversial than 9/11 Truth.
5) Ron Paul has done over 40 interviews with Alex Jones. RP also supported a new 9/11 investigation. If RP has no fear that 9/11 "Truthers" will visibly support his campaign, neither should the LP.
6) 9/11 should rightly be a controversial issue with the republican party, not the Libertarian Party.
7) The LP needs to develop a rational strategy regarding 9/11.
8) As long as people believe that Arab terrorists actually attacked us on 9/11, there is little hope that we be able to roll back the war on terror and restore our civil liberties. Our Founding Fathers taught us that the people will trade their liberty for security.
9) Only a small vocal minority of people will be upset if the LP or its candidates talk about 9/11 Truth issues.
10) The 9/11 Truth movement is bigger than the libertarian movement. According to the above Zogby poll, 42.5% of the American public is LIHOP, while Gallup polls show that 20% of the American public is libertarian.
